iPhone useful websites

Resources for the iPhone grow every day, and with the growing popularity of the Apple product that trend will only continue.  Here are a few that Mobile Internet Review found most useful:

MyBefia.com provides a widget that can give you a quick glance at what is hot or not app.  Use the drop down menu to filter the list by:

  • Top 100 Free Apps
  • Top 100 Paid Apps
  • Top 250 Apps by Popularity
  • Top 250 Apps by Reviews

MyBefia.com also offers a $50 prize if you can guess what the name means - maybe the developers have a laser beam at home?

Fresh Apps

Fresh Apps

Fresh Apps promises to find those iPhone apps you have been looking for - its a digg.com style review site where users vote on their favourite apps and those with the most votes raise to the top of the front page.  I know I’ll be checking it out soon.

Appvee

Appvee

AppVee has a similar mandate, but is more editorial in nature, providing a 5 star score, a YouTube video of the app in action and a 5 star system.  User reviews are also invited but require a login.

Good Guide isn’t a review system for apps, but more the products you’ll buy when out shopping with the iPhone in your pocket.  The site pertains to give you “…the world’s largest and most reliable source of information on the health, environmental, and social impacts of the products in your home.” Baby care, Household Cleaners and Hair Care products are included.

The popular Social Network Review blog, Mashable, provides reviews on iPhone apps sometimes, including such posts as 15+ FREE iPhone Apps to Navigate Your World

MobileCrunch should also be mentioned, a subsidery of the popular tech news blog, Techcrunch, it covers the technology around mobile phones in general - good news resources such as: Study: iPhones Twice As Reliable As BlackBerries
